Jogging in Tokyo virtually

Tokyo-Jogging is an open source project lead by Ryo Katsuma, which makes your Macintosh (can be PC, too) and Wii controller Wiimote be a virtual roomrunner.

Your Wii controller will be pedometer, sending your steps to Mac/PC to draw your current location over Google Maps, so that you can run any Google Street View supported town in your room. Demo video is provided.


Try to run on the google street view like a jogging game of wii fit from katsuma on Vimeo.

    Hey Akky … this looks verrrry similar to Air Sanpo by uranodai – a runner up in the Mashup Awards earlier this year – are they related? He also mashes up iPhone, wifi and Chumby into the mix.       Hi Robert,

      Yes, they are doing similar, used devices are different though. I should have mentioned Air Sanpo, too.

      I do not know their relation but the big difference is that Tokyo Jogging also opens its source code.
