For people care, &#8220;Saeko&#8221; is a girls name which means &#8220;smart girl&#8221; and &#8220;sensei&#8221; is a teacher.<br \/>\nIt is the same that this personification of guidance did not win office workers applause here in Japan, and they were removed on Office 2007. But there were some fans of her.<br \/>\nHowever, Microsoft Japan opened <a href=\"http:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/japan\/office\/2010\/saeko\/default.mspx\">a teaser site<\/a> this month with some movie, on which a Saeko-sensei-style actress is filming something.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/img.asiajin.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/new-saeko-sensei-mirror.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/img.asiajin.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/new-saeko-sensei-mirror.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"new-saeko-sensei-mirror\" width=\"281\" height=\"327\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8066\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nAs hold up on the page, Saeko sensei seems to come back on the new Office 2010. <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/saeko2010\">Twitter account @saeko2010<\/a> is also referred, and both say that everything will be clear on April 22nd.<br \/>\n[Update 2010-04-19] The 4th video today showed her face.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/img.asiajin.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/new-saeko-sensei-face.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/img.asiajin.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/new-saeko-sensei-face.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"new-saeko-sensei-face\" width=\"224\" height=\"248\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8085\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nIn the video, she talks in Osaka dialect.<br \/>\n[Update 2010-04-22] <a href=\"http:\/\/asiajin.com\/blog\/2010\/04\/22\/saeko-sensei-travels-around-japan-for-microsoft-office-2010\/\">Now all set<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Did you know that Microsoft Office Assistant Clippy is not so popular (or not so hated) in Japan?
