Digital Garage and Twitter will launch Japanese microblogging service for both PC and cellularphone browsers by this spring 2008.<br \/>\n# It is not told whether it is Twitter with Japanese UI, or another new service based on twitter technology.<br \/>\nTwitter founder Evan Williams <a href=\"http:\/\/asiajin.com\/blog\/2007\/11\/16\/twitter-founders-talk-in-japan\/\">revealed<\/a> that they have 20% Japanese users in November.<br \/>\nAlthough Twitter does not have Japanese interface, it is holding the biggest user share among microblogging in Japan, leaving other followers far behind, which including <a href=\"http:\/\/mogo2.jp\/\">Mogomogo<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/wassr.jp\/\">Wassr<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/timelog.jp\/\">Timelog<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/haru.fm\/\">Haru<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.feecle.jp\/\">feecle<\/a>.<br \/>\nLike YouTube got succeeded without Japanese menu, Twitter is going well because microblogging service does not require much English skills to use, as far as users are limited within early adapters. But to encourage wider users to join, Japanese menu localization is must.<br \/>\nDigital Garage incubates internet technology companies including <a href=\"http:\/\/www.technorati.jp\/\">Technorati Japan<\/a> with Technorati.
