There are hundreds of language schools in Tokyo, but the <a href=\"http:\/\/idol-gaigo.com\/\">Idol Foreign Language Academy<\/a>, which will open its doors very soon, is certainly unique. The concept of the school is based on having <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Japanese_idol\">Japanese idols<\/a>, young and cute girls who are famous to some extent (I am paraphrasing), teach you languages.<br \/>\nThe academy will hold its opening party tomorrow in Otaku- and geek heaven Akihabara (where else) <a href=\"http:\/\/idol-gaigo.com\/\">starting 7pm<\/a>. Japanese idols <a href=\"http:\/\/ameblo.jp\/kurominami0225\/\">Minami Yoshida<\/a> [JP, pictured] and <a href=\"http:\/\/ameblo.jp\/hinahinatatata\/\">Hinata Ise<\/a> [JP] will be there in the flesh.<br \/>\nAnd besides throwing parties every Monday, you can <em>really<\/em> learn English and Japanese at the academy (from idols), meaning the school is a serious brick-and-mortar institution.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/img.asiajin.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/hinata_ise_japanese_idol.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6076\" title=\"hinata_ise_japanese_idol\" src=\"http:\/\/img.asiajin.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/hinata_ise_japanese_idol.png\" alt=\"hinata_ise_japanese_idol\" width=\"320\" height=\"299\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nNo virtual lessons have been announced yet, which means bad news if you&#8217;re an Otaku not living in Tokyo.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is slightly off-topic but cool.
