The deal is supposed to take place July 1st.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/img.asiajin.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/06\/geo_logo.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-409\" title=\"geo_logo\" src=\"http:\/\/img.asiajin.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/06\/geo_logo.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"103\" height=\"63\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nGeo tries to close the gap to market leader Tsutaya, which operates <a href=\"http:\/\/www2.discas.net\/netdvd\/showServiceGuide.do\">Discas<\/a> for renting DVDs and music CDs online. Another competitor is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dmm.com\/\">DMM<\/a>. Tsutaya announced a new distribution for HD video <a href=\"http:\/\/asiajin.com\/blog\/2008\/06\/08\/japans-blockbuster-video-wants-to-to-become-japans-netflix\/\">just a few days ago<\/a>.
