{"id":18440,"date":"2013-03-05T16:56:41","date_gmt":"2013-03-05T07:56:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/asiajin.com\/blog\/?p=18440"},"modified":"2013-03-05T16:56:41","modified_gmt":"2013-03-05T07:56:41","slug":"google-chrome-browser-blocks-several-major-japanese-sites-as-potential-malware-distributors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/asiajin.com\/blog\/2013\/03\/google-chrome-browser-blocks-several-major-japanese-sites-as-potential-malware-distributors\/","title":{"rendered":"Google Chrome Browser Blocks Several Major Japanese Sites As Potential Malware Distributors"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today, March 5, 2013, many users reports are circulating Twitter and other social media, that their Chrome browser do not let them open some Japanese websites, including major ones.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/img.asiajin.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/chrome-blocks-several-major-japanese-sites.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/img.asiajin.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/chrome-blocks-several-major-japanese-sites-600x469.png\" alt=\"chrome-blocks-several-major-japanese-sites\" width=\"600\" height=\"469\" class=\"alignright size-large wp-image-18441\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nThe sites alleged by Google includes a national newspaper <a href=\"http:\/\/mainichi.jp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mainichi.jp<\/a>, a popular music ranking site <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oricon.co.jp\/\">Oricon Style<\/a>, <a href=\"news.mynavi.jp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MyNavi News<\/a>, one of the most popular 2-channel summary sites <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.esuteru.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hachima-kikou<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.soccer-king.jp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Soccer King<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/piapro.jp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">UGC site Piapro<\/a>, etc. A popular website widgets provider <a href=\"http:\/\/blogpeople.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Blogpeople.net<\/a> is also blocked and that is resulting hundreds of personal sites&#8217; block using their widgets.<br \/>\nInternet Watch <a href=\"http:\/\/internet.watch.impress.co.jp\/docs\/news\/20130305_590412.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a> this and wrote that other popular sites like Pixiv, Niconico and others were blocked in February 4.<br \/>\n[Update] Sankei <a href=\"http:\/\/sankei.jp.msn.com\/economy\/news\/130305\/biz13030516520023-n1.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a> [J] this phenomenon and got a comment from Google Japan. Google Japan PR told them that those sites were blocked because there were possible danger to break users&#8217; PC and smartphone.
