\nColopl, Inc.<\/a> [J] has announced that from September 6th through October 31st they will be doing the \u201cTohoku Ouen Campaign 2012\u201d (North Japan Support Campaign), which will aid tourism in the northern region of Honshu, through their location based game \u201cColony Life.\u201d
\nThis plan aims to support the recovery from last year\u2019s major earthquake, and with this campaign which includes Coloka shops in Aomori, Akita, Iwate, Yamagata, Miyagi, and Fukushima prefectures, Colo Inns, cooperating train companies, highway bus companies, and rent-a-car companies, they are attempting to promote colopl users\u2019 northward movement and improve sales in the region. \u00a0Along with this is the reopening of Coloka distribution of Iwate prefecture Rikuzentakata City\u2019s Yagisawa store, which was temporarily halted Coloka distribution after devastating damage from last year\u2019s earthquake disaster. \u00a0Furthermore Miyagi prefecture Kisennuma City\u2019s Saikichi store also plans to participate in the campaign as a new Coloka shop. \u00a0From here on they will also continue with various activation measures in the region such as real events, via this project.
