As announced by CEO Yoshikazu Tanaka back in <a href=\"http:\/\/asiajin.com\/blog\/2010\/06\/08\/japanese-mobile-gaming-startup-gree-to-open-us-and-china-offices-within-a-year\/\">June last year<\/a>, big G has recently opened an <a href=\"http:\/\/asiajin.com\/blog\/2011\/01\/11\/gree-opens-subsidiary-in-the-us\/\">office in the US<\/a> after having made an <a href=\"http:\/\/asiajin.com\/blog\/2010\/11\/02\/gree-to-take-several-percent-stake-in-singapores-smsim-based-social-network-mig33\/\">investment<\/a> in Singapore-based mobile social network mig33.<br \/>\nBut Tanaka also said his company will hire additional staff to drive internationalization, and that&#8217;s what it is trying to do right now: last week, GREE set up a <a href=\"http:\/\/gree.co.jp\/recruit\/career\/us_career\/\">special job section<\/a> on their official website. And by the looks of it, they are looking for quite a lot of internationally minded people, as the list includes <a href=\"http:\/\/gree.co.jp\/recruit\/career\/jobs\/appli01.html\">engineers<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/gree.co.jp\/recruit\/career\/jobs\/appli02.html\">smartphone developers<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/gree.co.jp\/recruit\/career\/jobs\/hr.html\">HR managers<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/gree.co.jp\/recruit\/career\/jobs\/pr.html\">PR people<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/gree.co.jp\/recruit\/career\/jobs\/designer.html\">designers<\/a>, and many more.<br \/>\nFollowing a <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/#!\/tanakayoshikazu\/status\/26868987274989568\">tweet<\/a> by Tanaka (who intends &#8220;to build a global company from scratch&#8221;), GREE added open positions in business development in <a href=\"http:\/\/gree.co.jp\/recruit\/career\/jobs\/business07.html\">Europe<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/gree.co.jp\/recruit\/career\/jobs\/business05.html\">Asia Pacific<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/gree.co.jp\/recruit\/career\/jobs\/business04.html\">China<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/gree.co.jp\/recruit\/career\/jobs\/business06.html\">other regions<\/a> today.<br \/>\nThe company says that it expects all applicants to have good English skills and that commanding other languages, especially Chinese and European languages, is a plus.
