\nCanceling this year’s Web 2.0 Expo in Tokyo<\/a> was considered a mild disappointment in the Japanese web world. But now it seems Digital Garage<\/a>‘s New Context Conference 2008<\/a> [J], a 2-day event full of high-profile speakers from the Japanese and international Internet industry, can more than make up for it.
\nThe event is being organized for the fourth time (some info on last year’s event can be found here<\/a> [J]). This year, the conference takes place in Ebisu Garden Hall<\/a>, Tokyo, from November 5 to 6.
\nThe conference (slogan: “Open Networks come to life – post Web 2.0”) has these confirmed speakers [UPDATED]:
