New Function On mixi For Connecting With Friends At The Same Place
mixi Inc. [J] has added “Issho Ni Iru Hito To Tsunagaru,” [J] (connect with people you are with) a new function for smartphones, designed to search for friends you want to connect with on “mixi.” [J]
“Issho Ni Iru Hito To Tsunagaru” is a function using location based information on smartphones, and by pushing the button displayed on the special page at the same time as nearby friends, friends (face photo and nickname) appear on each others’ screens. You can proceed to friend request from the display screen, and it has become possible to more easily search and connect with friends. It’s now possible to simply connect with people actually in the same place, in situations such as reconnecting with old friends, meeting old classmates, meeting new classmates or coworkers, or when with friends at events such as a music concert or drinking party.
