The first several times I tried watching it, I kept getting a message something like "Please wait for the next program." I finally was able to access it now. As you said after 30-60 seconds the quality goes from barely watchable to very nice. It would be even nicer if the previous 24 hours' programming was available on-demand, but I'm impressed that NHK is now distributing its content this way. Nice.
