Hong Kong-, Tokyo-, Silicon Valley- and London-based tech start-up MotherApp has kindly developed the iPhone/iPod Touch app which allows Asiajin readers to get the latest news more easily on their palms. The company specializes in developing apps for multiple mobile platforms only by simple and single development process, and won the first prize of the audience votes at the first edition of TechCrunch Japan's Start-up Meeting[J] that was held last month.
The Asiajin iPhone/iPod Touch reader app is absolutely free, and you can download it at any country's edition of the AppStore by simply clicking on the banner which is appeared on the right sidebar of our website.

I could read the QR code on the movie with my Android phone with Barcode Scanner app. The code points http://audi.jp/qr , which does not respond. It is too early to finish your campaign site.
There have been many huge QR code ads are all around Japan for 4-5 years.

As we reported last month, Japanese government announced their new website to collect people's voice. However, it turned out that they had thought that they would be able to take ".com" domain AFTER their announcement.
Of course they could not. All possible domains both in Roman alphabets and Japanese (international domain name) were quickly occupied. The one in Japanese ("ハトミミ.com", you may see the Roman alphabet converted domain from Japanese on some browsers) now run by an anonymous person and s/he makes fun of the government by asking visitors opinions to criticize Hatoyama government's immaturity operations on the Internet.
Now they remember (or pointed out by lots of people) that the policy they have been having that all national websites must use subdomains of "go.jp" (governmental, Japan) to prevent misleading phishing sites and future domain squatting even after the domain usage stops. Ameba Blog[J] a.k.a. Ameblo, which is well-known for marking the highest number of serving celebrities' blogs among Japanese blog platforms, announced that some 450 passwords that allow participating celebrities to update their blogs have been stolen and leaked out. No suspect has been confirmed so far.
On January 1st, an image of a Japanese-style envelope for presenting new year's gift was appeared on some celebrities' blogs which are being operated on the platform. By clicking on it, anyone was allowed to obtain an excel file containing more than 450 passwords that enable role full access to the celebrities' blogs.
Ameblo's owner Cyber Agent made an announcement on their website as follows:
We formed the emergency task force to deal with this case and changed the passwords that have been leaked out by noon of the New Year's Day. We also reported the case to police and keep working on finding how it has happened.
The news has caught the attention of not only Japanese bloggers but also Korean bloggers who have seen many showbiz scandals that the blogosphere has affected. Korean A-list blogger Lonely Han-byul(고독한별) says on his blog[K] that there's no national border on the personal information leak issues.
On the first day of this new year, Kanagawa-headquartered funny web app developer Kayac launched a new service which allows you to decorate your Twitter icon with sushi items.
The service, which is named Twitter Sushi, works in conjunction with Twitter, you are allowed to choose a sushi from varieties such as a chunky omelet piece, natto (fermented soybeans), salmon, tuna, shrimp, sea bream and salmon roe. Large fatty tuna can be chosen by the Twitter users who have more than 100 followers.
You may feel as though you had a seat at a revolving sushi restaurant. In commemoration with the service, for those who apply for recruit from January 1st through 3rd, the company will kindly treat to sushi.
