		<description>Thanks Chris, that is interesting. It is likely those people inferred it from Mixi&#039;s experience. Facebook could have provided some default applications makes more Mixi compatibilities for Japanese users.</description>

		<description>Thanks, this is a great post. From the start I never really expected Facebook to do well in Japan at all. I think in so many ways Mixi is better suited to the local user base. 

A friend told me an interesting story. Some of his Japanese friends created Facebook accounts and started using the service. After a while people noticed that these Japanese friends were writing monologues about their daily life on their Wall... they thought it was a blog interface!</description>
